Studying Bone and Kidney Problems in Patients with Diabetes and Nerve Damage in their Feet

The purpose of this study is to learn how your kidneys affect the bones in your feet. We believe that healthy kidneys help keep your foot bones strong. Having diabetes and nerve damage can increase your chances of having kidney and foot problems. You will help us understand more about how they are related which will ultimately help us discover tests and treatments to prevent diabetes related foot problems.

A Study to Test if Pupil Size Can Be Measured While the Patient is Experiencing Joint Pain From Osteoarthritis

The purpose of this study is to learn more about changes in pupil size when someone is having pain. Changes in pupil size can be a sign of brain activity in a region of the brain that is important for feeling pain. Taking part in this study will include four study visits over about two months. This study may help us learn how to treat pain better.

Finding Muscle Changes in Myotonic Dystrophy Patients

Myotonic dystrophy (DM) is a disease that causes muscles to weaken and waste away. The purpose of this study is to find the best ways to measure muscle weakness and changes in patients with DM using MRI scans. Understanding these changes will help plan future studies to track the disease and test new treatments. We are seeking healthy volunteers as well as volunteers who have been diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy.

Testing a New Treatment for Muscle Weakness

The purpose of this study is to test a new treatment called YTB323 for people with generalized myasthenia gravis. We want to see if YTB323 is safe and helps improve muscle strength. Participants will receive the treatment through an IV infusion.
