Managing Osteoarthritis Pain with Movement and Healthy Eating at Home
Osteoarthritis is a condition that causes pain and stiffness in the joints, often in the hips and knees. The purpose of this study is to find ways to help people with chronic pain due to this condition. We want to find a drug-free way to better manage symptoms through movement and healthy eating. Learning More About Preventing Bone Loss in Older Adults that Have Lost Weight
The purpose of this study is to see if losing weight affects bone health in older adults. You will join a group to help you lose weight and may do exercises at a gym three times a week. You might also take a pill called alendronate, which helps keep bones strong, or a placebo for one year.
