Study of Second Look Laparoscopy with Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) in Patients with Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma
After their first surgery, patients often have a procedure called second look reassessment surgery. This surgery allows doctors to look inside your body and check for signs of cancer. The purpose of this study is to see how well it works to give HIPEC during the second look surgery. HIPEC is a type of chemotherapy inserted directly into your abdomen at the time of surgery. We want to monitor any effects that this has on your health.
