Testing Ways to Find People for Blood Cancer Screening
The purpose of this study is to test recruitment methods to find and sign up people for a blood screening study. The results will help us decide if we can do a bigger study later. You are invited to join because you are Black and/or African American, live in Charlotte, NC or nearby, and are at least 30 years old. This study will also check how many people have a blood condition that might lead to blood cancer.

Testing Blood Counts in Different People
The purpose of this study is to learn more about different blood cell counts among people from Africa or the Middle East. People from these areas have fewer white blood cells because they don't have a certain red blood cell marker called the Duffy marker. This is normal and not harmful. The goal of this study is to find better blood count ranges for these people to improve their medical care.

Comparing Home and Office-Based Care for Black Patients with High Blood Pressure
The purpose of this study is to compare two ways to improve care for non-Hispanic Black patients with high blood pressure. The first way provides care to patients electronically through phone and video visits. The second way is in person, at a doctor's office, the way someone might normally seek care. All patients will receive a cuff to self-monitor their blood pressure at home. We want to see which way would work better.
