The purpose of this study is to learn more about how people's genes affect how they respond to medicine. We will collect cheek swabs or blood samples to be stored and used in future research. Information from this study may help doctors give better treatments to people in the future.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the causes of injuries in motor vehicle and nonmotorist/pedestrian crashes. We hope that the information we learn from this study will benefit you and others in the future by helping us design and build safer vehicles to prevent injuries and save lives. There will be no change to the care that you are receiving, and your health and vehicle information is protected and will not be disclosed. We are looking for volunteers who have recently been in a motor vehicle or nonmotorist/pedestrian crash with moderate to severe injuries.
