The purpose of this study is to learn more about a new medicine called AZD0780. We want to see if this medicine can safely lower bad cholesterol in people who have high cholesterol or heart disease. People will take either the new medicine or a look-alike pill with no medicine in it. The results may help doctors treat high cholesterol better in the future.
