About This Study
The purpose of this study is to find better ways to treat people with a type of brain cancer called non-germinomatous germ cell tumor (NGGCT). Researchers want to learn if giving radiation to part of the brain and the spine works as well as the usual radiation treatment and helps keep the cancer from coming back in the spine. The study will also look at whether stronger chemotherapy with a stem cell treatment may help people whose cancer does not respond well to their first chemotherapy treatment.
