Using Selumetinib for Treating Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and Low-Grade Glioma

    About This Study

    The purpose of this study is to see how well a drug called selumetinib works for treating patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 associated low-grade glioma. Low-grade glioma is a type of cancer that affects the nervous system. We also want to see how well selumetinib works at improving vision in patients with low-grade glioma of the optic pathway. The optic pathway includes parts of the eye and brain that help us see.

    Diagnosed with a genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis type 1 and a cancer called low-grade glioma. Study team will discuss study details with you.
