About This Study
Heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH) is an inherited genetic disorder. It causes dangerously high cholesterol levels. This study will see if bempedoic acid works at lowering cholesterol in kids with HeFH. Bempedoic has been tested in adults, but it has not been tested in children or young adults yet.
Need volunteers diagnosed with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. Need to weigh at least 35 pounds. Taking part in this study will last about 4-6 months. That includes 6-9 study visits and 1-2 phone calls. Study team will discuss study details with you.
