About This Study
The purpose of this study is to compare two surgeries for people with a BRCA1 gene change who have a higher risk of ovarian cancer. Researchers want to learn if removing only the fallopian tubes is as effective as removing both the fallopian tubes and ovaries in lowering the risk of ovarian cancer, while also looking at quality of life and menopause-related symptoms.
