About This Study
The purpose of this study is to learn more about a new device called the WATCHMAN Elite heart device. Researchers want to find out if this device is safe and works well to help lower the risk of stroke in people with a type of irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation (AFib). This study is for volunteers with non-valvular AFib who have a higher risk of stroke and are looking for an alternative to taking blood-thinning medicine long term.
