The goal of this study is to help people who need medical procedures where their blood goes outside their body, like during dialysis or heart surgery. We want to find a way to stop blood clots during these procedures. This study will help us learn how to prevent clots and make these procedures safer. We are looking for healthy volunteers, both adults and children, who are 17-70 years old and weigh over 110 pounds.

The purpose of this study is to find out if oxytocin, a natural hormone, can help reduce pain from heat when given through the nose or a vein. People will get oxytocin in two different ways and have their pain measured. The goal is to find out which way works better for pain relief.
