    About This Study

The purpose of this study is to learn more about a new type of eyeglasses. We want to find out if eyeglasses can tell if a child is having absence seizures or having attentional difficulties.

Need volunteers diagnosed with childhood absence epilepsy. We also need healthy volunteers who do not have epilepsy. Taking part in this study will involve 2 visits that last about 2 hours each. This is not a treatment study. Volunteers will complete a series of tasks while wearing a special type of eyeglasses. They will also be asked to fill out some questionnaires. The study team will discuss study details with you.
