About This Study
The purpose of this study is to learn more about a new pneumococcal vaccine for babies. Pneumococcal germs can cause serious illnesses, such as lung infections, ear infections, blood infections, and meningitis. Researchers want to see how safe the new vaccine is and how well it helps protect babies against more types of these germs than the current vaccine. Babies younger than 3 months old may be able to take part in this study.
