About This Study
The purpose of this study is to learn how professional teeth cleaning and daily tooth care may affect the bacteria that can enter the bloodstream during brushing. Volunteers will receive a professional dental cleaning, learn more about the health of their teeth and gums, and help researchers better understand how good oral care may support overall health. We are looking for volunteers who have not had their teeth professionally cleaned in 12 months or longer, do not need an antibiotic before a dentist visit, and have at least 10 teeth.
